Except when they have to work concession stands. Or chaperone a school dance. Or coach a football team or a cheerleading squad or... MAYBE (just like those other NON-TEACHER duties), we get could some of them certified, armed and contributing to safety and security?

No. We’re not a militia. We are teachers. If you don’t know the difference then you obviously didn’t pay attention in school.

We can’t afford school supplies for our kids, but we’ll pay to arm teachers? Or does that come out of their pocket, too? Teachers should teach & inspire. A govt should be of the people, for the people. Mr. Patrick, get past the 2nd Amendment and see the bigger picture.

He’s not even at the 2nd amendment. He is deliberately misstating the US constitution. Who told him to pretend “well run” instead of “well regulated”?
