    A Black woman med student posts abt perils of taking call & Connecticut ACC’s replies… This is part of why cardio remains a white cis-male dominated field. Called “angry, unsuitable for patient care, emotions are contagious” for talking abt a common med student experience. 😒

    My preference is now for evaluation material without identifying information - we ran similar exercises in two programs. Without a surprise, we ended up with diverse cohorts in a very consistent manner. Designing these types of applications is hard, but it pays off.
