From U of M - Dearborn. The Non-POC Cafe or the “White Cafe.” Anyway, I wonder what the menu looks like for the Non-POC Cafe at UM-Dearborn. If they have chocolate hummus I am calling for a boycott.pic.twitter.com/8ZegRv7zet

Update: An apology from @UM_Dearborn regarding the cafes issue:https://umdearborn.edu/offices/external-relations/key-issues/virtual-cafes-september-9-2020 …
What if a BIPOC wants coffee and only NON-POC has spaces available or the other way around? Can you still get that coffee? Or would your coffee have a "chilling effect" on the NON-POC or BIPOC experience and would make other cafe patrons feel "not safe?"
We're going to have racially segregated spaces because we're all about inclusion! Give me strength!
What’s the goal here having these two groups I wonder?
What if the person of color is, say, an orange man? I presume he would be welcome at the BIPOC Cafe?
I don’t think it’s an actual cafe. Seems to be the title of the zoom meetup. And both are hosted by the Center for Inclusion and Social Justice.
They're separate, but are they equal?
What's the intent, to prevent race mixing? Is it ok so long as the cafes are equal?
To fight against widespread racism like they had in the sixties, we need racial segregation like they had in the sixties.
