This is “basically legal” everywhere in the sense that petty theft is a misdemeanor, corporations build inventory loss into their accounting and are insured, and the potential legal cost of someone getting hurt trying to prevent theft greatly outweighs cost of items stolen

1.) what happens to those insurance premiums when such videos no longer are considered remarkable because the insured-against loss is realized thousands of times daily? 2.) won't other consumers have to pay higher fees one way or another to cover those higher operating expenses?
