Media silence on this story is its own scandal. That includes the 2 most well-funded adversarial outlets, @democracynow & @TheIntercept. I raise funding not to impute motives, but to point out that it's those adversarial outlets w/ the most resources/protection who should be at forefront of covering a story, w/ ample documentary evidence, about whistleblowers exposing fraud under US pressure for a pro-war agenda.
There are no sufficiently powerful political or media institutions or individuals that would benefit from making the malfeasance at the OPCW into a big story. And the longer media ignore the issue the harder it becomes to start covering it as their silence has made them complicit
It’s never too late to report the truth.

remember, Mockingbird wasn't the CIA planting stories to turn the media away from questioning foreign policy, because that wasn't NEEDED until Vietnam--it was more about turf wars; I can't think of one intervention the media didn't applaud before the polls did
