@GavinNewson Cambodian refugees only came into existence because of U.S backed carpet bombings. My Khmer brothers and sisters were forced out of their homes. Pardoning refugees is a step in showing your support and solidarity. #PardonRefugees

B/c CA's misguided prison boom in 1980's and 1990's contributed to the criminalization of SE Asian refugees and diverted precious resources from creating quality schools & funding culturally competent community services in the Central Valley where many of these refugees grew up.
