dislike money as energy metaphors b/c they imply intrinsic value. it’s more like a pipeline of promises that allow you to see certain futures. this vision provides the energy the same way a dream provides motivation

so even though it’s “fake” it’s more real than anything else b/c without the dream the answer to “to be or not to be” is “nah”

money ofc isn’t necessary for dreaming unless the free market is necessary. for jobs like coding or dog sitting it IS because such work is not valuable in of itself without the ability to transmute it into other forms (unlike homesteading or farming)

also why marketing is so important in making money. money paves the path to specific visions but the vision itself needs to be provided

it can be a vision of partying with friends at the beach w a corona, sophisticated whiskey musing in a philosophy chair, hitting a forehand like roger federer, or sitting enlightened as apostles prostrate them before you it’s a sensation of “being”

these dreams act like crutches because they provide goals to work towards and create the constant movement necessary for a whirlpool to sustain itself as a legible entity
