the most useful kind of contempt for technology (if u really must insist) is that it is “cute” rather than “evil” or “disgusting”

that is, a pov of “technology is bad bc it disconnects us through obfuscation and unnecessary complexity” doesn’t see the brain/hand/eye are even MORE obfuscated and complex. they are literally magic relative to modern machines
