e.g. with a rhythm game like taiko drum master or guitar hero at the faster speed you are looking at the notes further ahead than the hit zone. the conscious mind can think ahead because the reactive body is so proficient and synced with the mind

single player games don’t have an aggressive aspect though bc syncing up mind and body is just a matter of technical proficiency. the note doesn’t change between when it is “noted” and when it needs to physically acted on

in a multiplayer game however the opponent can get into your behavior loop and suddenly change direction or pace. the prediction that was a strength now becomes anti-momentum to override before u can react

being aggressive in a multiplayer domain basically means being able to predict the future accurately while also being to react to and mitigate actions from “malicious” actors trying to prevent that future from manifesting

this is why the leader doesn’t sit in a ship’s crow’s nest or act as a scout or a coach. it’s not merely about seeing the future but having the greatest “reach” in being able to pull futures into reality
