What’s the point of intra-female competition to be “pretty” in ways that males aren’t even attracted to? I find this very confusing

it’s actually just proof of work but bc work is correlated with quality it leads to excess of work put in in excess of full saturation e.g. staying late at the office to imply “better employee” despite not doing anything actually valuable
