imo having "strong hands" is more about sizing the bet appropriately so that u can afford to see it play out vs yoloing everything so that u NEED to have it play out in a certain way. it's a fine line between hope and desperation
with a child, u r basically forced to watch things to the end. it is a kind of ownership and responsibility that teaches true "strength" jk i abandoned all my kids at 2 months of age. sold them actually. don't look at me like that the pandemic was very profitable.
