ever notice how different the thought form of a dog changes once u know its gender e.g. it goes from “beautiful” to “handsome” or “social” to “spunky”

prior to “knowing the pronoun” u could argue that the “true” form of the dog is known but bc the pronoun is necessary to attribute hooman attributes it feels less true and less real

in languages where the pronounced pronoun for male/female/thing is the same sound, perhaps there is more of a tendency to view pets as less hooman
