leadership has both a normalizing and creative aspect the creative aspect is factoring in all the needs of the hierarchy and coming up w a solution that integrates all of them

the normalizing aspect is rejecting new members or directions of movement that cause an influx of desires and needs that can’t be integrated otherwise over time the group disintegrates
