when rich people make a ton of money, the knee jerk reaction is that they transcended certain limitations that they shouldn't have morality and limitations are two sides of the same coin

the idea here isn't that preaching morality is "bad". it's that creating situations where others are powerless gives them only one recourse. to cast away all morality for supreme power in a last ditch effort for dignity (post wwi germany style)
