the surface behavior tries too desperately to signal high status to skip over having to actually take on risk by dealing with reality in real time they provide short term relief from a feeling of impotence while distancing from the actual goal

the 3 examples above all try to skip over important fundamentals for pua, it’s the relationship with self and family. the new shiny partner is an attempt to avoid having to do this work of figuring out y there are buried landmines of anger and sadness

for spirituality it’s shadow stuff. in addition to dealing with the darkness of self and making peace, it it also involves dealing with collective shadow and a chaotic world. i.e. making peace with “God” (w/e is worshipped)

this is not to say it’s bad. it is in fact very useful for coaches, wealth preservation managers, and any other role where standing on the sidelines and taking a macro view is important. (such as cats on towers)
