risk-off investment strats makes it seem like you are an expert at managing millions or billions of dollars even though u r just a poor new grad with no capital yourself

positivity spirituality (and i will include vegans here) are all about love and peace but basically become assholes to anyone who doesn’t prop up their projected desired sense of self

(note on veganism. if u r fighting meat eating urges u r an asshole. if u have a literal physical disgust response due to having raised cows, chickens, pigs, etc… as pseudo-pets then fine)

the 3 examples above all try to skip over important fundamentals for pua, it’s the relationship with self and family. the new shiny partner is an attempt to avoid having to do this work of figuring out y there are buried landmines of anger and sadness

for investing it’s avoiding real risk with personal endeavors and instead trying to leech off of being high iq butlers and information mavens for the already wealthy

for spirituality it’s shadow stuff. in addition to dealing with the darkness of self and making peace, it it also involves dealing with collective shadow and a chaotic world. i.e. making peace with “God” (w/e is worshipped)

they all boil down to mind choking due to unwillingness to accept things as they come. an ocd denial of reality unless everything is neatly labeled and compartmentalized

this is not to say it’s bad. it is in fact very useful for coaches, wealth preservation managers, and any other role where standing on the sidelines and taking a macro view is important. (such as cats on towers)
