ever notice how cats don’t really get angry in the sense of blindly lashing out in the tunnel vision of extreme emotion the response to any excess stimulus, good or bad, is to attac it with claws

bc the attac comes prior to the emotional response, the emotion as trigger is unnecessary so the emotion itself becomes unnecessary

the emotion as trigger is a social “buffer” where the action is intentionally delayed. e.g. if someone insults you but then it turns out to be a joke, the teasing actually builds the relationship

the more the action domain relies on instant reaction, the less “social” it is. e.g. war, video games, finance, hunting, sports, etc... even a game like chess is like this bc it slows down time of an instant reaction domain

anger then is an immature response if the buffer is too small (not giving someone a chance) or is triggered and maxed by overly sensitive issues (e.g. calling a guy shorty mcsmallpenis)

however maturity doesn’t mean lack of an ager response just as a guard dog that gets mad at nobody is an ineffective guard dog it’s the ability to communicate the state of the anger buffer. to display self’s and read other’s

e.g. if you don’t show anger at all and suddenly explode, that’s immature. but if warn “u wouldn’t like me when i’m angry” and they push it, then hulk smash away. it becomes a duel rather than random destruction

society pressures 2 types of hoomans to repress their anger. incels and females the effect is a facade of niceness while the anger eats away at the heart. either get angry and face social repercussion, or swallow it and burn from the inside

this leads to resentment of those who *can* openly display their anger in the incel’s case this leads to fantasies of power and in the female’s case fantasies of a world where anger (and men) is not needed

the LACK of this buffer on social media may explain why everyone is so angry at everything all the time. on social media, the degree of anger cannot easily be expressed just like saying it’s 25C is wrong. the temperature is a snapshot of a local env but words persist through time

so what ends up happening is certain topics become quantized with specific anger scores. your anger buffer correlates to your degree of victimhood (self chosen or externally imposed in the case of race/gender)

the more of a victim you are the smaller of a buffer you can have. you are allowed to get angry at 20 points of anger. thus, by conforming yourself to the image of victimhood you can effectively communicate ur degree of anger

e.g. often w/ trans people the buffer is so small & the topics so wide ranging that you can ONLY talk about work which might actually be the very opposite of what trans women may wanthttps://twitter.com/a_yawning_cat/status/1396922078515716099 …

i barely understand vanilla hoomans let alone the more exotic variations but i suspect that the interaction that trans women truly want is to be flirted with like a girl

the issue with trying to put a framework around anger and trying to control it is that the act of protocolization strips the emotion of its meaning. it's like trying to bottle sunlight. anger cannot literally be placed in a box. to be asked to do so makes u angry

it is so much easier to not have to worry about this stuff. see rat? break neck. see bird? cut throat. see hooman? parasitically extract resources for over a decade no anger. no judgement. no hate. just cat
