every colleague conflict is like 2 countries in the middle east fighting. they go to manager (usa) and ask for help, it replies “both of u stop fighting” while secretly supporting one. they go to HR (united nations) and it says “both of u stop fighting, listen to your manager”

imo there is an archetypical Bully/Victim/Authority/God story and was pointing out its occurrence at the micro interpersonal level as well as the geo-political level in a "everything is fractal!" as a cat i do not know geopolitics so i kept the specific reference vague
