don’t see a difference between an identity and a vibe. they’re both specific frequencies that are used to measure resonance or discordance when joining an orchestra

the only difference is that you can “tune” your vibe. but that seems to just be identity contortion figuring out what chords to play to fit in with a pop song orchestra isn’t *that* difficult

but bc there IS a phase change where suddenly things sound GOOD it’s liable to be interpreted as a Sudden Amazing Insight into a New Life of Freedom like fake chiropractors. lot of popping and release. pain comes back.

just like an identity, a vibe has to be maintained. if u watch carefully you can sense yourself curating your thoughts and projected imaged. once this becomes subconscious, it’s just another script

in terms of real world usage, an identity is selfish relative to a vibe. an identity wants something for ME. a vibe “escapes” the identity, becoming music for OTHER

however this self transcendence is only skin deep. in both situations the “me” feels obligated to live up to externally imposed expectations. the identity enforces parental and social expectations. the vibe enforce communal expectations

there’s an element of choice to a vibe because you can choose your scene and choose your community. however the act of choosing presumes freedom that doesn’t make sense. u cannot freely choose the path to your freedom bc if u were free u wouldn’t need to

it’s like a girl who has a string of boyfriends who is abusive to her in exactly the same way. each time she believes she is choosing someone different and learning from past mistakes but it’s just a time loop

tldr the problem of “it hurts to be who i want to be” cannot be solved through “tell me who i am”
