also i’m pretty sure bullshit jobs is proof of work from the executive perspectice it’s pointless energy expenditure at the micro level but is necessary to secure the network at the macro level

not necessary , once an organisation gets to a sufficient energy and maturity, the extra work is luxurious dissipation also the bosses like to have things "vetted" , people at the highest levels don't actually talk to each other, the bullshit jobs are a consequence of that too
