so though doge theoretically could be a new kind of gold it has 2 weaknesses 1/ it has infinite supply 2/ it's a meme. the gov buying doge would destroy credibility just like negotiation w/ terrorists

gold also kinda-sorta has infinite supply in that it can be mined and increase in price motivates more mining (maybe even from asteroids??) so sth like btc actually is more "Godlike" than gold bc max cap is known

this is why subcultures that form around being victimized so desperately want to break into the mainstream. psychologically they are hoarding some crypto coin that promises some awesome footure but ONLY if the mainstream recognizes it as legal tender

so while YES the government CAN declare "shina inu coin now has VALUE!" this has to be weighed against the cost of such a declaration. does the coin ACTUALLY have useful properties?

e.g. if the coin encourages incorrect use of grammatical pronouns. e.g. using "they" when it's a singular entity. how can schizophrenia be identified? if male/female distinctions are blurred, what about all the medical knowledge around gender and race differences? toss it??
