e.g. if the stock you own has a price not based on fundamentals but on expectations on the expectations on the expectation on the expectations on the.... then u will want to transform that into sth with less links bc it will be less affected by the incoming slack wave

there is obviously some elite gating here. only the relatively elite can even think about sth like "how do i escape to another country" but even then, the people who don't have to think about this kind of stuff are well... PRIVILEGED (b/c they don't live in a shit government)

the "what would i dump" thought experiment is also more tricky than it sounds e.g. "i can't keep my house if i'm moving" may lead to thinking that real estate should be dumped but if the crisis is short term then "somewhere to live" is pretty low link count

so the thought experiment of "if i were escaping to another country" has to be adjusted based on magnitude of disaster and your own mobility pref e.g. in the u.s. it might be "if i were escaping to another (lower cost of living) state/reg" or "if i were switching careers" etc...
