the desire to have or already having had children usually leads to one one these stances: 1/ climate change can be “won” 2/ climate change is overblown otherwise life is too painful to bear

it’s usually between the ones who have taken on parental roles vs those who are screaming inside “I was supposed to be your future!!” e.g. the boomer/millennial conflict

ingroup conflicts also often occur when a new member proposes new ideas that r thought in line with the groups values but rejected by a heavy fisted elder figure trying to maintain leace same energy
