if life is a conversation w/ reality, then what is conversing with reality? it has to be outside reality so by definition isn't "real"

if it *is* part of reality (since everything that exists by definition is part of reality) then life cannot be a conversation w/ reality but only a MODEL of reality and the model always inherits the bias of the modeler!

this is useful expansion on "inner silence" the louder the inner conversation, the more the conversation is with the model and not reality. increasing fidelity of model or decreasing inner noise both work to decrease the distance to reality

so a loud inner voice isn't necessary "bad" the same way letting a dog run wild in a dog park isn't bad. trying to *force* inner silence by suppressing the energy is worse

in practice this means that the inner voice that is trying to understand reality is always more "right" than the voice that is insisting that reality ought to be some other way however just like a dog chasing a car it eventually must settle for acceptance
