to be humble is to trust in your God given consciousness and sense of judgement over anything and everything mere hooman's have built, even their great pyramids of "Science" the problem is that this is also the definition of arrogance.

if the holder of the opinion does NOT know about the gaps in the knowledge where the ignorance is, it is like an artist who paints without giving consideration to the background and the layering you can be sure it wasn't THEIR work. they're just COPYING someone else's answer

this can get very confusing when someone can copy with such elegance and fidelity (often empowered with technology) that their answers are superior in quality to the one thinking for themself e.g. bandit with a gun beating kung fu monk master

someone who parrots answers using technological leverage can be more socially useful and more sophisticated in presence than someone thinking for themself who will seem like an ignorant country bumpkin in comparison this incentivizes copying and squeezes out true thinkers

this is why the desire to be Right actually can lead temporarily TOWARDS truth but long term never arrives self-delusion is a very difficult path to get out off as it requires embarrassingly backtracking, looking your followers in the eye to tell them you led them a dead end

what this implies at a higher level is interesting: seeking humility makes you arroganthttps://twitter.com/a_yawning_cat/status/1380822868032823298?s=20 …
