in work contexts, as you go up to manager, director, CEO the scope of allowed topics decreases. e.g. w/ the CEO you can only talk about how great the company is and blah blah blah. anything that is negative gets you labelled a terrorist of the organization

it is just that at the heart of it all there is deep confusion on whether or not Power or Freedom is desired because the first feeling of Limitation felt is limitation on personal POWER the desire is for power but the actions strain half-heartedly in the direction of freedom

alignment requires honest acceptance of where you are and where you want to go. want power? have the courage to admit that you want it to yourself first. (eat shadow) admit that you don't actually WANT freedom.

admit that you just want to be king and tell others what to do. admit that you just want to be queen and tell others what is right and wrong. follow through the thought experiment and test it in the real world and see what you *really* want.
