in work contexts, as you go up to manager, director, CEO the scope of allowed topics decreases. e.g. w/ the CEO you can only talk about how great the company is and blah blah blah. anything that is negative gets you labelled a terrorist of the organization

hierarchies of value are thus not actually pyramids where freedom is reached at the apex they are more like radial trees where the top of the pyramid is actually the "heart" the nodes actually compress inwards and generate ANTI-freedom instead of actual freedom

a hobo at the borderlands has infinite freedom, yet this is not the freedom most people yearn for. most yearn for freedom b/c they are limited by social forces and they seek to overcome those limitations through increased social influence

they find ways to head deeper and deeper into the heart of things, losing freedom yet ironically being driving by a desire to loose the feeling of being impotently limited

Freedom is NOT Power power means you don't need to use force or coercion. meaning you influence through values and thus have to petrify yourself into a crystal that refracts those values consistently over long periods of time

the confused guy who tries to gain power through increased freedom is the archetypical cult leader who failed to gain power leading an uprising in a previous system the core detected the anomaly and ejected the radical

gurus who sell magic methods of making tons of money on shopify/amazon/etc... for e.g. don't make their money through what they sell, they make most of it through selling their courses

the leaders of groups that commiserate on how to get girls (either through the negativity of red-pill or the positivity of psychology of feeling expression) don't seem to be in significant relationships themselves (otherwise they would have no need of the group anymore)

this is not to say that the information isn't true or insightful. there ARE tips and tricks to make money online. there ARE useful ideas from the fields of psychology-adjacent things like non-violent communication, social manipulation, cbt, spirituality, etc..

it is just that at the heart of it all there is deep confusion on whether or not Power or Freedom is desired because the first feeling of Limitation felt is limitation on personal POWER the desire is for power but the actions strain half-heartedly in the direction of freedom

alignment requires honest acceptance of where you are and where you want to go. want power? have the courage to admit that you want it to yourself first. (eat shadow) admit that you don't actually WANT freedom.

admit that you just want to be king and tell others what to do. admit that you just want to be queen and tell others what is right and wrong. follow through the thought experiment and test it in the real world and see what you *really* want.
