if i were the US and the only thing preventing Eurasia from becoming an interconnected superpower that could rival me was a mountainous area of muslims i’d have to incite terrorist activity in order to apply my playbook to keep that area in need of freedom (which i will sell)

first step would be to destabilize the region economically so that the muslims only have islamic extremism to turn to. something like banning a major export would do the trick. there’d be no jobs left lol
