unlike commonly held belief, authoritarian systems are not composed of sheep capstoned by a minority of tyrants. it's a recursive structure of repressed resentment as everyone waits their turn to BE the tyrant

it is not "sheep blindly following leaders who tell them what they want to hear." this is ironically more a hallmark of democratic republics than authoritarian systems.

by projecting the symptoms of dysfunction from one system to another, the end result is thinking that another's system's problems could all be solved by refactoring this better framework

after all...the reason it's not working for "Us" is b/c of X, Y, Z and that systems just so happens to have problems X, Y, Z "what a coincidence. guess "I" am needed for my moral crusade after all!"
