      every “ugly” religious stance (per dfw’s “everyone worships” idea) attempts to pass the Really Beautiful as the Infinitely Beautiful through the rationale “Infinity doesn’t exist” well... yeah... that’s the point of the concept...

      On one hand there are those who believe that ultimate "Truth" is up to God. This is allows one to live at peace with oneself despite ignorance and imperfection. Recognizing the infinity of God avoids the temptation to explore every rabbit hole of knowledge.

      In order to make this more palpable to humans, a "Master" figure is invented. Someone so perfect that this humility before the master is considered a virtue. This figure, more of an idea really, is colloquially termed "God". Understanding God is similar to understanding Infinity
