to get a taste a what unreasonable anger feels like imagine the scott alexander nyt thing. most ppl in the world absolutely do not care at all. that means the anger arises out of attack on identity.

they don't even understand the article or scott's writing. they just hurrah the surface message of 'shadowy smart ppl bad' or something. i dunno, i neither read the nyt & scott writes a LOT : \

now ofc the in-group is like "b..b..but all my sacred values!!" but i'm like: my point isn't to say that the in-groups values aren't sacred but that the out-group's values are just as sacred from their perspective. you can never understand their anger just as they can't yours.

the asymmetry here is that because all the 100 different colored rats can sneak through all the cracks the fat normie hoomans cannot they feel they have more perspective, knowledge, etc... and to a degree that is true
