here's why "wall street is greedy" can't solve the 'problem' because it is actually shadow projection:
when a hooman buys a stock they are betting that it will go up. options allow individuals who can't afford the stock to buy options instead and bet and a positive future outcome. this is basically a lottery ticket unless the options seller is retarded.
basically one side is selling hope. because there are people willing to buy hope. that side makes money in a mathematically guaranteed way.

here is where the shadow projection comes in: people who buy lottery tickets are being "greedy". and "wall street" is punishing this "irrational greed" by bleeding them dry until they "wise up" and stop being stupid.

imo this is why the punishment mentality in the US is kept alive at all costs despite so much evidence that it doesn't work. there is a LOT of money to be made by punishing stupid people via indirect lottery mechanisms.
this is also why love is the only way the world can be saved. the people up top beating down the people down below are doing the 'right' thing through negative reinforcement. they're 'smarter', they're 'better'.
a bunch of idiots yelling at them will only make them whip the whip harder. now, now only do they think the peasants are poor and stupid, not they're ungrateful, arrogant, and violent. this can only lead to an atlas shrugged 'go fuck yourself'
but if the vampires learn to see the rest of hoomanity as their old frail grandparents, aging parents, helpless children, and brothers and sisters... then perhaps there is hope. one must touch the heart of the vampire. even if it through a stake.
