play seems to require a serious non-seriousness. e.g. to play fetch w seriousness you’d have to be in a mindset of Retrieving the Holy Grail. intent and model can have different levels of play/seriousness.
original sin and similar concepts force work/play into a hierarchy of value. if life is a gift then life has an element of seriousness to it. the gift is still intended to be enjoyed but it isn’t “yours” to do as you please. thus life is primarily “work” or “suffering”

this elevates acceptance above Game since Game requires acceptance of the rules but life is a forced game. any Game you consciously play then is finite inside this larger game. “You” are always a concept *inside* consciousness.

the Game stance is imperfect just like playing Adult is always imperfect because of reliance on things like electricity, computers, money, the market, the country’s army, etc...

there is always a Bigger Adult that makes your game of I’m a Big Boy possible. foreground by necessity/definition is smaller than background. even the homesteader needs trees and an axe. wood and steel are gifts from the big bang.

so while it’s possible to live in pure acceptance, you’d very quickly die. you wouldn’t care about which mouth or stomach the food goes in. hoomans have a Max Acceptance level where they cannot totally dissolve the Game of Being Hooman.
