store of value is basically crystallized faith. it’s essentially arbitrary in nature though it can have immense “Realness” given enough power/popularity.

so in one sense “value” and faith are orthogonal and in another they map to each other. resolution requires splitting value into “potential value” and “actualized value”

that is... faith is a superset of hope. to create faith you need both understanding and acceptance of the past as well as the courage to have eyes wide open to the present. any of the three components in isolation is degenerate
