even if say the left were 100% Angels Who Don't Even Need to Poop and the right were 100% Literally Hydra Nazis, once the angels take the "end justifies the means" stance and prioritizes their victory over inclusion, then that's no longer democracy.
that is... they are advocating for an Enforced Utopia similar to how many religions used the Strict Father as God to maintain an Eden as Our Home. (oddly similar to the CCP) is this better? i dunno... maybe it's evolution...
democracy itself is a tricky word b/c as a system of governance is doesn't work (tried in ancient greece, too messy) nowadays it's used more a symbolic word that means "anti-china" or "my opinion matters!!" (technically the US is a constitutional federal republic)
maybe just like how china launched into the modern age through "capitalism with chinese characteristics" the US will with "socialism with american characteristics"
