on the down side these ppl tend to be much smarter, much more motivated and compensated, and with an army of mathematicians, engineers, etc... this can feel 'unfair' e.g. high-frequency-trading is like Super Amazon putting dropshippers out of business

argument against this however is that everyone is stupid relative to God. we even LOVE stupid things like pets and babies and other things. we want to be just smart enough to enjoy life, not so smart that we drain the world of vitality.

this is why technology can feel EVIL. technology is a lever that amplifies a minority. a 180 IQ genius can use technology affecting a huge amount of the world while complaining "why is everyone such a stupid shit."

in many ways social media and the internet is like this. those who can take advantage of it become gods compared to those who are corrupted by it. it's like being able to handle the infinity stones without the gauntlet.

leverage allows a minority to claim to be the majority! this fucks up EVERYTHING.
