      The concept of god can be just as useful as believing in god. It may in fact be possible to understand the concept of god in such a way so that it is equivalent to believing in god. Here goes:

      so ironically, to believe in God is to not believe in God. when aiming for the top of a hierarchy of value, the purpose is the aim despite knowing that what is aimed at cannot be the Ultimate Aim. it's means to have a purpose despite purposeless.

      this loopy definition only works because God here is like a recursive function or a fractal. it's both the Whole and the Piece. (this fractal explanation is the secular explanation of God is Jesus, Jesus is God.)
