most people do not have the necessary moral framework in place to make a decision here. they operate on a rule-based “do the good thing” system that doesn’t actually define good. what is “good” is what everyone else is doing.

Voice is by nature centralized while Exit is decentralized. Voice requires a loud consistent message that can be spread without distortion. The message IS the rule. The “Mission” IS the Life.

i suspect Voice intrinsically breaks down past a certain crowd size. it can work, but only by dehoomanizing huge groups into homogenized “individuals” so that the crowd size is still “small” from the perspective of those up top. e.g. seeing 50 states instead of 300m ppl.
