imagine the son of a whore and bandit trying to make a "worthy" life. can probably only become an Inquisitor.. the past makes it almost impossible to enjoy any moment fully w/o it feeling "dirty" b/c the circumstance of birth defines his entire existence "sinful"

this applies almost to everyone indirectly. if a butterfly can affect a hurricane, global events like WWI and WWII almost definitely have been *CRITICAL* to your birth. same question then. can you accept the past and enjoy the present and look forward to the future?

all you need to One Moment of pure "Okayness", and then you can accept the Everything that defined and created "You". that's how you can even be "grateful" for catastrophes.pic.twitter.com/RhOYlSOvBL

sheds new light on the 'it's not about you' vs the 'it's all about me' stances towards life! egoic story-telling sacrifices the macro-story for the heroic individual story while non-egoic story-telling is fine w/ not being the main character.

imo no, the “True ego that transcends basic ego” is a trap. even cosmic alignment or cosmic servant is a kind of hubris. the closest is always holding ego lightly by acknowledging that all ego will eventually calcify

accepting and dealing with the calcification and preventing it from becoming eventual corruption is the understanding of “original sin” that allows the everyday of “chop wood carry water” to be lived with gratitude rather than resentment.
