I have this habit of effectively just binging the body of work of any artist / author I like Most people repeat the same set of ideas but in different ways and contexts Wonder why

Is it because these are the things that interest them and are relevant to them and their experience? (would say this applies to me) Is it a case of everything looking like a nail when you have a hammer? Is it just a positive feedback loop? Everyone liked x, post more x

Very possible that its some sort of hidden overlap (e.g. all artists structure attentiom) or dependency (music techniques / practice) make it easier to play certain kinds of music Or is it just selection bias. You're more likely to see the motifs more and so youll remember them
