while it's easy to see how those pure beautiful fleeting moments are sacred, it's much more difficult to see how our bad dark negative feelings are also sacred. sometimes we just want to NOT feel them at all or NEVER feel them again.

but have you ever tried painting with white paint on white paper? it's impossible! you can barely see anything. contrast is what gives life its vividness. without "Bad" stuff, how would you recognize "Good" stuff?

you might find many parts of your life boring right now and that's not wrong at all. but it can be difficult for some other people to empathize with you since they literally fought in wars and lost friends and limbs and sanity for this peace that you deride as boring.

there are also people who live in constant darkness and pain. it probably doesn't seem fair. and it isn't. that's because life isn't fair. reality isn't fair. that's not ideal, that's just Truth. everything that IS is built on everything else being the way they are.

one small change can cause a million other small changes, then a billion, then a trillion. scientists even did a study where a butterfly flapping its wings could be the deciding factor in whether a hurricane forms! the Everything is conspiring together to be the Everything

i suppose the only redeeming factor is that such people aren't bored if they're always suffering...you'd have to make boredom a kind of suffering to make that equal. but don't... to be bored is to be bored with yourself since YOU are always with you.

what you want to feel at all this injustice is not a sense of righteous fury but that of humility. of feeling blessed to be given a gift. after all...you don't know how your actions will end up truly affecting the world. how can you be so arrogant as to think yourself as good?

there have been many experiments in the world where people tried to do Really Big Good Stuff but actually caused Terrible Tragedies. it's always the smartest, bravest, and most hardworking and cunning ppl who try to do the Really Big Good Stuff.

it's just that b/c they're driven by so much suffering in the form of boredom or anger that they never do the right thing because they never allow themselves to feel blessed, loved, or humble before the Everything. the right thing always is rooted in feeling that Life is a Gift.

Thank you. Again & again, your tweets deliver. Can’t fathom how you don’t have hundreds of likes for most of them. I’m constantly glad when you post. Is there any way to have your trove of written ideas somewhere, collected, accessible?
