here's why following the bravest macho leader is kinda dumb. the maneuver these chads try to pull off is like sliding under a rapidly closing door. high risk, high reward. if the leader barely makes it, the followers are going to get crushed.

the point of following is not to reach a promised Eden but to devour and so become the Eden that the followed represents. "Becoming the leader" so to speak. When I devour the Innocence of the Mouse, I too can temporarily feel the warmth of life.
