life is suffering because toxicity doesn't create virtuosity. it is a ratcheting effect where toxicity spreads and spreads creating more of it rather than being brought back into balance through a negative feedback loop.

what this implies is that humanity is headed along a path of unavoidable sexual depolarization. this is the core "diversity" that is being lost. everything else is just information gathering. There IS something to conservatives lamenting the "loss" of something irretrievable.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it does, the toxicity simply needs to go deeper before it becomes virtue.

the Hero's Journey does replenish the energy, but it often requires a critical mass of heroic opportunity for an upward macro trend. (like when all the families helped out the jews in WW2) normally there simply isn't enough hero to go around.
