The circle of life as I understand it is: assimilation into System -> atomization -> declining birth rates (b/c of your reasons listed) -> fascism as hail mart for community -> tear down system -> baby boom -> new System to deal w/ sudden new culture explosion -> repeat
note how there’s no “good” in a circle, everything is relative and only the self’s past is romaticized. The US/Japan are atomized and view tradition romantically. But culturally they see China/India/etc.. as “breeding too much” even though it’s the SAME as what’s romaticized.
