Each tries to “capture” some kind of stability during whirlwinds of bullshit. Which is somewhat ironic b/c each of these “assets” is also considered bs by many people. Guess the bs cancels out or something.

Or it could be that these sorts of domains by their very nature are defined by “holy events”. Catastrophism over uniformitarianism. That would leave their future truly up in the air.

What stocks provide is that instead of owning what are essentially carnival tickets in the form of fiat money, you can own “a piece of the action.” But when all the action feels like bs people feel like owning something else. A piece of “What is Real”.
