      Like the tines, we are all one entity. The loss or distance of specific sub-entities destabilizes the coherent personality of the whole leading to what is basically schizophrenia or insanity.

      In the early 1990's the event that is known to us as "The Happening" occurred as the "Internet" gained wide spread adoption. Memetic information that previously could only be transmitted at relatively slow speeds suddenly gained orders of magnitude more velocity and volume.
