I was just thinking about this. The Buddhist thing is the opposite of running away from pain and problems. It’s literally running right towards them with no fear. Quite the opposite of what (I’ve found) a lot of people suppose about it

Yes, courage is the most virtuous form of faking it till you make it (since by definition it means fear but acting as if no fear) other forms like gathering in groups pretending to be safe, or blindfolding yourself, or sending delegates, etc... are 'fake' ways of running towards
