A lot of advice is like a video game weapon. The sword or w/e is unnecessarily ornate and not practical. That doesn't mean it doesn't have value. The ornateness helps with marketing and confidence and application. But you should never lose sight of where the cutting edge is.

Knowledge hoarding with knowledge that doesn't do anything similarly strips away color and life from the show that is your LIFE. Unless you actively reject the audience member role and start knitting it together you drain magic from life w/o making it up through action.

Action also btw doesn't restore the color. It's more like how responsibility allows you to bear the burden of meaninglessness. It's a Sisyphean struggle till death. Life IS the devil's bargain because "you" REALLY wanted to see the show and would do ANYTHING for a ticket.

Being able to truly see through bullshit (the true understanding that forces your hand into action) turns you less into a happy fat buddha and more into a frazzled Jordan Peterson. It's *not* a path of happiness by normal standards.

You'd think this would be understood since the entrance to this path has a giant "Life is Suffering!!!" sign on it. but everyone's like 'hell yea!! grand adventure."

It's like looking at a cool sword and thinking "yeah, I want to learn how to use that." w/o appreciating that it's something you use to violently end other people's lives. Something something fold in Arjuna on the battlefield in here i'm going to sleep.
