The sad part about getting angry at customer service reps is when it works. Not just on a human level. It’s standard now to have sentiment analysis software that prioritises angry customers chats or incentivises reps to go the extra mile for the angry-type callers. :(

In countries with a lot of bureaucracy and high population, getting angry is often the only way to get things done. Especially since the rules are vague and often unenforced.
