Suffering is just meaningless pain. How to make meaning? Story. How to make story? "Listen" to pain. Hard since pain is more rambly than even the most rambly person you've ever listened to. (Indeed a sign of being able to listen to pain is that no one feels rambly anymore 2 u)

Interesting. The zen story would be that there’s no story to the pain (or to anything, really). You simply don’t ignore the pain, you don’t hold onto it, and you don’t ignore it, which is what you’re doing all the time to everything anyway.

That's a possible solution. Though to negate *human* suffering through lack of story also negates the humanity. Taking a cosmic stance of detachment isn't always the desired result. (as Anakin Skywalker discovered)
